Vighpyr’s Place (pronounced ‘Viper’s Place’) is a listener-supported online jazz radio station that began broadcasting in July of 2007. The station took a 6-year hiatus in 2013, and is back online broadcasting its wonderfully eclectic programming

The station began programming in the Delaware Valley in the northeast US and relocated to Baton Rouge, LA in 2023. Vighpyr’s Place is proud to have loyal listeners around the globe. Vighpyr’s Place is one of the few Internet stations that combines an eclectic mix of some of the most enjoyable jazz from talented artists from every country, with live broadcasts every week. We pride ourselves in our ability to produce excruciatingly relaxing shows that are a blend of listener requests and the best selections from our extensive jazz library and archives. Vighpyr’s Place broadcasts 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so you’ll be able to tune into your favorite shows anytime!

Our primary programming is Smooth Jazz, and we also have several shows on our schedule that are unique to our station. Every Sunday morning we present classics by the Chairman of the Board, Frank Sinatra. Some of his iconic hits and even several live performances by along with the Rat Pack make this show an absolute favorite.

We also broadcast live and recorded interviews with some of the industry’s newest and most talented artists. In addition to the Quiet Storm, our most relaxing, dreamy program, and New Age Nights, where we take you on an ambient journey of tranquility, Vighpyr’s Place is certain to provide you with enjoyable, informative, and relaxing programming.
